Dealer Terms of Service

These terms describe how a dealership ("you", "the dealership") uses the Unidrive trade-in widget and dealer portal. See also our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle the personal information of the customers who submit the widget on your site.

The service

Unidrive provides a vehicle trade-in valuation widget that you embed on your website via a short code snippet, and a dealer portal for reviewing leads and configuring the widget's appearance and behavior. Customers who use the widget on your site submit vehicle and contact information, which Unidrive processes to generate a valuation and deliver a lead to you.

The widget embed

The widget snippet is a self-contained script - embedding it does not require you to make any other changes to your site. As part of operating and improving the widget, the embedded script also loads a separate, isolated instance of Google Analytics on the page where it's embedded, used to measure engagement with the trade-in form itself (for example, which step of the form customers complete or where they leave without finishing). This is scoped to the widget's own analytics property and does not read from, write to, or otherwise interact with any analytics or tracking tools you already run on your site.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the website on which the widget is embedded, and for responding to leads delivered to you in a timely manner.
• You will not misrepresent the widget as your own product or remove its attribution.
• You will not use the service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could disrupt the service for other dealerships.

Data and leads

Unidrive retains a copy of all lead data generated through your embedded widget, as described in our Privacy Policy, in addition to delivering it to you. We do not sell lead data to third parties, and we do not share lead data between dealerships - a lead generated on your site is never provided to another dealership. Unidrive may use lead data and other usage data (including the analytics described above), whether aggregated or not, to operate, support, and improve the service. You should not expect that lead data generated through the service is held or used by you exclusively - Unidrive retains and may independently use its own copy.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be changed at any time, at Unidrive's sole discretion and without notice. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
