This policy describes how Unidrive handles personal information collected through the trade-in valuation widget.

Who we are

Unidrive provides a vehicle trade-in valuation widget that car dealerships embed on their websites. When you use the widget, Unidrive processes your information on behalf of the dealership whose site you are on.

What we collect

• Vehicle information you enter: make, model, year, trim, mileage, condition, and optionally VIN and colors.
• Contact information you provide: name, email address, and phone number.
• Technical data needed to operate and secure the service, such as your IP address and the time of your submission.

Why we use it

• To generate a trade-in valuation for your vehicle.
• To deliver your inquiry to the dealership so they can follow up about your trade-in.
• To record your consent to be contacted and to operate, secure, and improve the service.

How we share it

• The dealership whose website you used - they receive your inquiry and may contact you.
• Valuation data sources receive vehicle details to produce an estimate via our AI valuation model. We do not send them your contact information.
• Service providers who host and operate our infrastructure (e.g. cloud hosting, database, email delivery), under contract and only as needed to provide the service.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and analytics

Unidrive uses Google Analytics to understand how the trade-in widget and our own websites are used - for example, which steps of the trade-in form are completed and which pages are visited. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives technical data such as your device/browser type, approximate location, and the pages or steps you interact with. We use this information in aggregate to improve the product; we do not use it to identify you individually, and it is not combined with the vehicle or contact information described above.

Consent to contact

By submitting the form, you agree that the dealership and Unidrive (on the dealership's behalf) may contact you about your trade-in by phone call, text message, and email, including using automated technology, at the contact details you provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase, and message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by contacting us or the dealership, or by replying STOP to text messages.

How long we keep it

We retain trade-in lead information for up to 24 months, after which it is deleted. We may retain a minimal record of your consent for longer where required to comply with legal obligations.

Your choices

You may request access to, or deletion of, your personal information by contacting us at contact@unidrive.net. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA or GDPR.
